I think we need to promote our strengths to increase eastern Iowa tourism. What do we have the most of in that area of the state. Well it’s obvious we have more corn than anything else and a close second to that are soy beans. Maybe we should take one of the ethanol processing plants we have around the area and have them start making corn mash whisky as a second product. Not only would that increase money coming into the state it would allow them to have a tour of the facility thereby increasing tourism and the number of tourism dollars spent here.
