I got my first tattoo before they became as popular as they are today. Now that every single girl has something drawn with ink on her lower back, they seem really cheap. My flower tattoos were so beautiful when I first got the work done. Now they are just fading away. There is still the outline of the flowers and you can certainly still tell what they are, but the bright colors are gone. What was once vibrant and clear is now faded and a little bit smeared. I know this is from the skin changing through time, but it still makes me really sad.

My husband and I have four kids and twp full time jobs so it is kind of hard to get out and have a date night or something like that so we set up special times to watch tv together. We are both into reality tv shows and since we both like fox reality tv shows like Hell’s Kitchen we stay up and watch these types of shows together. It is at least one thing that we can take time to do with each other. If we didn’t see one another at least this much we would probably go crazy.

The many ways that lighting can be used has always fascinated me. I have signed up for some online interior design courses and one of them is a lighting class. For some reason I always make bad choices when it comes to lighting. Sometimes I do not have enough lighting in a space and other times the lighting I choose looks to harsh and bright. I want to lean about up lighting and diffused lighting. How can I use lighting to make a space feel bigger or set a mood for a space… I have so many questions about lighting.

Every year on our birthdays my dad would line the birthday boy up against the wall and put a mark where the top of the head reached. We would then put the day and the year beside it. When we moved from that house day copied the heights on butcher paper and moved our growth history to the new house. The tradition continued until we felt we were too old to do it any more. I am sure if it was up to my parents we would have never stopped.

I have stumbled upon a great gym that gives Salsa Dance Lessons, they do other options too, but the Salsa class is my favourite. Since joining I have cast off a few pounds, have made some great friends, and my self-confidence has sky rocketed.What finer way to lost that excess weight, and have fun at the same time. I went on a blind date last night. A mutual friend set it up. We met at a restaurant for dinner. Then we went out for a few drinks. He talked about his tattoo meanings all night, and I listened attentively. He had been through some tough times when he was a child, and his tattoos each represented milestones that he had a hard time reaching. He told me the story of his life just by talking about his tattoos. I don’t know if he realized that he was telling me so much personal information or if that was his way of telling me.

Like any other craft there are a number of tools which are needed to enjoy the art of quilling.  Although there are a number of tools the two most basic, and arguably the most essential, are a needle tool and slotted quilling tool.  With these two tools most basic shapes and patterns can be created and it is perfectly possibly for a beginner to use just these two tools for quite some time and produce a large number of works.  The needle tool allows the hobbyist to wind their strips of paper into different shapes.  The slotted tool is used by putting one end of the paper through the tools slot which holds the paper fat whilst the hobbyist wraps the rest of the paper around the tool itself.

How could not look at a lower back tattoo and have the saying tramp stamp run through your head? I remember first hearing about this lovely location to put a tattoo and I thought I was hearing wrong. But people really do put tattoos on their lower back. I have seen a variety of tattoos there and wonder how painful of an area that would be. Or would the lower back be a terribly ticklish spot for a needle? Why would you get a tattoo on the lower back if you could never see it expect in a mirror? Who would be the one to see this tattoo?

Yippee, David Archuleta made the final 2 on American Idol! I don’t think many people thought that David would go as far as he did, but many of us knew he had talent. Of course, it doesn’t hurt when you’re as popular with the teenage girls as David Archuleta is.

Even if he doesn’t win, David Archuleta has a great career ahead of him, if he can dump his Dad. His dad has hurt him more in the American Idol competition than help him. I’ve even heard that American Idol banned David Archuleta’s dad from rehearsals. Good. That needed to be done early on. I think David would have loads more confidence if his dad wasn’t around. I have David can win, but even if he doesn’t, I’m still his biggest fan.

My daughter loves to listen to audio books. They sell some of them in the kids section, and they have some tapes at the library, but I was wondering if there would be a better selection of online audio books for kids somewhere. That way we could put them on in the car when we have long trips and she would be much happier sitting in the car for the long ride. It could be a special treat for long car rides, so she would look forward to them rather than dreading them. Does anyone know of a good place to get kids audio books?
