In Japan they have a tradition in most homes of using Deep Soaking Tubs. These are tubs that are taller than they are long and are designed to both condense space as well as allow someone to take a long luxurious soaking before or after work. This tradition has held for several hundred years at least and is one of the things often Americans whom travel to Japan bring back with them. They purchase their Deep Soaking Tubs here but they bring back the intrigue and the idea from their trip to Japan. I think I really need to get me one of those Deep Soaking Tubs.
