Flowers in the winter? What? Are you crazy? I can hear you thinking that. But there are a bunch of bush-types that will produce bright colors that can brighten a winter’s day. Big yellow witch hazel flowers, Christmas roses, and holly berries add color to the bland chilly days of January and February. Color is relative. winter flowers will not cover the ground like summer flowers but they are sure prettier than snowdrifts. Do a little research now and amaze your friends, surprise your neighbors and brighten next winter. Plant a bush or two and see what a difference it makes.
