I was happily engaged with Patrick. I never had a love relation before that. My parents had always dreamt of our marriage. Patrick was a nice guy. He used to call me someday. But, last I week, I found him giving an indifferent attitude to whatever I used to say. This continued for two more days. On insisting, he said that he has more interest in one of her colleague. He cannot think of any other girl other than her. I did not say anything and just cut his call. I did not even answer him. I told the same story to my parents. They were completely shattered. It was very difficult for them toget over a break up. At that particular moment, they were preparing the guest list for my marriage. It was supposed to be held the very next week. But, instead of thinking about my break up, I started consoling them. I tried to make them understand the positive side of it. It was better that I learnt it before marriage, than after marriage. Of course, I’ll get better people.
