I wanted my son to attend a horse-training program for young people run by a man who has worked exclusively with rodeo participants that sponsored by a local community college.  At first he wasn’t sure, because rodeo was not where his interest lie, but rodeo wasn’t the main focus of the class; horse training was.  He could bring his own horse, Barrel Racing Saddle and any other tack he wanted of his own, or he could just come and use their horse and tack.  Some days he used his own other days he used theirs, and overall he said he learned more in that week than he had in the past year riding on the ranch.
